First thing Monday morning, all Gr. 10 students had the opportunity to present their progress on their Personal Project at a Work-in-Progress Fair, held in the Multi-Purpose Hall. For Gr. 10 students, the Personal Project is a big part of their IB learning journey, and the fair gave the students an opportunity to articulate their goals, research, and planning thus far. Gr. 9 and 11 students were given a special invitation. Gr. 9 students had the opportunity to see what awaits them next year, while Gr. 11 mentors could assess and give advice per their experience last year. All guests were encouraged to circle the room, talk to the students, and give their feedback directly. There were so many interesting projects from comic strips to coding, and projects that involved racehorses and rescue dogs, with a variety in between! As the students wind down the first half of their school year, the Fair will hopefully give them the motivation to carry on through the winter break and come back fresh with their projects well on their way for the final presentations! Good luck Gr. 10!
