In the annual rite of passage for Gr.12 students enrolled in the IBDP, students embarked on their exam journey on Wednesday. Exams will run through May 21 and will be held in the MPH in the East Building . . .

The Ted-Ed student club is active in examining issues - social, emotional, educational, local, global, and others. Students discuss issues on a weekly basis, and examine various perspectives. And then, as the year progresses, they start to think of a topic that they would like to highlight and help bring to the attention of their peers and the wider NIS community through the Ted-Ed talks event. This year the event was held this past Wednesday!

Wednesday was the culmination of our four Parent/Teacher/Child conferences about how our students learn, what challenges they may face, and the successes that they celebrate every day in class. This week's conferences were student-led as we saw the students leading the conversation, putting them in the driver's seat, and allowing parents (and caregivers) and teachers to see how their students reflected on their growth and development over the school year.

The Gr. 10 Personal Project Exhibition took place on April 16 and 17, with an evening opening on April 16 and a session in the morning on April 17. Each project represented the culmination of seven months of hard work.

Gr. 8 students took their learning to all new heights for the Gr. 8 Rocket Fair on Friday!

It was a feast for the eyes, ears, and spirit this week as the Gr. 9, 10, and 11s presented their talents and learning through both visual and performing arts.

High School students were chased indoors for their Sports Day organized by the Home Language Club on Tuesday but that didn’t dampen their competitive spirits!
