While we are so delighted and grateful to be back on campus with students, we are so sad that we cannot welcome parents on-site as we would like to. Of course, for specific prearranged appointments, parents are welcome. The traditional open campus feel that NIS has always enjoyed sadly remains a future aspiration as we must follow the science on COVID-19 and keep our safety protocols to the highest level. These restrictions are in place so we can minimize risk to our community to remain in “Campus Learning Mode”. Therefore, it was a shame that our Parent Information Day event had to be held online, missing out on the usual vibrant atmosphere of parent gatherings, meetings, and workshops with teachers. However, it was terrific to welcome so many of you to the virtual sessions and to have the chance to connect that way, as partners, in your child's learning. One of the hidden benefits of the virtual open house is that it remains accessible throughout the school year. Hopefully, these will help you better understand how we aim to work together around your child's learning and well-being. Thank you again for your participation and engagement in the day!
