Students Visit Service Dog Facility

NIS has many clubs and activities initiated by students in the hopes of having an impact on our community. Last week, the NIS Japan Service Dog Association Club visited the official facility of JSDA. They had a tour of the facility, and watched a service dog perform many of the tasks such as picking up coins, retrieving items from a fridge and assisting in removing shoes. It was a great opportunity for students to learn what happens at the facility and how these dogs have an impact on the lives of the people they help.
